Part-Time Stylist (Work From Home)

Do you have an eye for fashion? Do guys come to you for advice?

Bombfell is a monthly subscription for men's clothing built to enable guys who lack time or don't know what to buy to dress well. Members tell us their wardrobe needs and we send them a personalized selection every month. We're hiring part time stylists who will work from home and select clothing for Bombfell members using a custom-built online styling platform.

responsibilities

  • Style users using our online styling platform
  • Respond to feedback clients leave on orders within an appropriate time frame
  • Review the user’s past shipment history, style preferences and social media accounts to choose the best items from inventory for each client
  • Accommodate all user request notes to the best of your ability
  • Write genuine, friendly and professional notes to users
  • Partner with our customer service team to help resolve user issues
  • Utilize an online timesheet system to carefully keep track of all hours worked
  • When working, respond to emails in a timely manner
  • Provide feedback regarding the online styling platform, company software, assortment of inventory and common user requests to our management team

requirements

  • Availability that coincides with business needs and ability to work between 20-30 hours each week
  • Access to a reliable laptop and internet
  • Retail experience preferred
  • Occasional mandatory training sessions at our headquarters in NYC
  • Must reside in NY State
  • Strong computer skills including navigating online platforms
  • Knowledge of social media
  • Strong written communication skills regarding emails and notes to clients
  • Exhibit a positive attitude
  • Motivated and detail-oriented

Product Specialist

Score the extraordinary opportunity to be an integral member of our Style & Merchandise Team and gain coveted experience in styling and merchandising. We’re looking for someone who has good eye for style and trends to help us create styling content about and around our product. You will be in the front line of communication with our vendors and liaise with our warehouse on all things product-related and more. This is not a typical 9-5 job, but if you are the kind of person who is willing do whatever it takes to keep the wheels moving (because that's what we all do and that's what makes startups awesome), we want you!

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO)

  • Communicate with vendors to track new merchandise samples for photo shoots
  • Manage all aspects of sample processing and organization to a high level of accuracy
  • Utilize knowledge of fashion, style, and construction to properly catalog merchandise and write descriptions
  • Coordinate samples for fittings and photo shoots for both merchandising and marketing teams
  • Photograph samples, organize files for editing, and upload
  • Maintain virtual photo library and physical photo studio (supplies,clean-up, sample closet)
  • Manage fittings and product videos; Create seasonal style boards
  • Curate outfit options around new merchandise
  • Conduct product knowledge seminars for Style Team
  • Assist Executive Creative Director with product development

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1+ years of relevant fashion experience, preferably in men’s
  • Ability to work from our New York HQ
  • Must be tech-savvy and have Adobe Photoshop and PC proficiency
  • Digital photography experience a plus

Bombfell E-Commerce Intern

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO)

  • Support our Merch Team with all aspects of the procurement process
  • Communicate daily with our warehouse to manage deliveries and resolve any issues with vendors
  • Maintain all paperwork: POs, linesheets, lookbooks for Merch Team
  • Assist in the coordination of samples for fittings and photo shoots for both merchandising and marketing teams
  • Assist in photographing samples, organizing files for editing, and upload
  • Resolve shipping manifests, confirm vendor charges, and additional administrative tasks as needed
  • Receive, process, and prep samples for photography and styling
  • Coordinate shipping for samples going back to warehouse
  • Assist Merch Team with organizing and sending RAs

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a full-time or part-time student working towards a degree; related major a plus
  • Must be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours (maximum of 30) each week
  • Internship is paid and students must be able to receive pay regardless of whether or not they are obtaining school credit
  • Ability to work from our New York HQ
  • Must be tech-savvy and have PC proficiency
  • Adobe Creative Suite knowledge a plus

Style & Merchandise Manager

  • Develop strategies with ECD to maximize opportunities in our inventory
  • Work collaboratively with Style team to ensure cohesiveness of total product offering
  • Lead in cross-functional capacity to execute against departmental strategies
  • Support and nurture the education, development, and growth of our Style team
  • Establish and foster vendor relationships in a way that is consistent with Bombfell’s values
  • Actively and responsibly assist ECD in managing Open-To-Buy
  • Analyze selling and user data to inform future purchases and react in season to sales trends
  • Oversee online content for items; select photos, write and edit descriptions
  • Coordinate and support development of SMUs (exclusive styles)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve receiving and logistics issues with our warehouse and Operations team
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional teams

Business Operations & Customer Service Coordinator

THE ROLE

Bombfell is seeking an Operations & Customer Service Coordinator to take point on the operations and customer service functions at Bombfell. The perfect candidate loves to document and improve processes, measure results, prioritize ruthlessly and just flat out get things done.

You'll work directly with the founders on business operations and do whatever it takes to keep the wheels moving, because that's what we all do and that's what makes startups awesome. From warehouse operations to customer service to fulfillment & shipping analytics, you'll wear many hats and learn everything by doing. Most importantly, you'll learn how to create order out of chaos, how to hold things together with paper clips and chewing gum and other real-world skills for startups.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage fulfillment operations together with our shipping partner to ensure boxes get to customers accurately and efficiently
  • Serve as the first line resource for customer service questions and investigations. Deliver superior service and take ultimate responsibility for reacting quickly to ensure our members are happy, fat Hobbits.
  • Quickly and thoroughly solve problems for members any time deliveries or experience don't go as planned.
  • Provide thoughtful, strategic insight regarding customer needs to our product, marketing and technology teams
  • Collaborate with other functions to streamline process across and within teams - in particular with stylists, marketing and engineering.
  • Create streamlined operational dashboards, identifying the metrics for the business that matter
