Shea Joelle James is best known as the daughter of American actor and comedian Kevin James, who starred in award-winning movies like Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009), Zookeeper (2011), and Grown Ups 2 (2013). She’s the second oldest of four, and has briefly appeared in movies like Pixels (2015) and Hubie Halloween (2020).

Who Is Shea Joelle James?
Shea Joelle James was born on June 14, 2007, in Los Angeles, to mother Steffiana De La Cruz and father Kevin James. As of 2025, she’s 18 years old.
Shea Joelle keeps a private life, so we don’t know much about her early childhood and current education. She also doesn’t have a public social media account that we know of.
That said, Kevin James doesn’t shy away from talking about his daughter.
He once expressed his excitement about becoming a father to another daughter while his wife was pregnant with Shea in a 2007 interview with People. “I just love being a dad and spending time with my wife and child, and now we’re having another girl. It’s incredible,” he had said.
Shortly after Shea’s birth, Kevin jokingly told David Letterman on The Late Show that Steffiania would get first dibs on naming their next child after he named Shea after Shea Stadium, the former home of the New York Mets.
Kevin also mentioned that he was less nervous about Shea’s birth because of his experience with his firstborn, Sienna-Marie.
“You kinda loosen up with the second child a little bit, which is nice,” Kevin told Letterman.
He recalled how cautious and nervous he was driving home from the hospital with Sienna-Marie, claiming that he was “10 and two on the wheel in the right lane, 30 miles an hour on the highway with the flashers going.”
With Shea, everything was smooth sailing—even if she was born earlier than expected.
Shea Joelle James Has Three Other Siblings
Shea Joelle James is Steffiana and Kevin’s second daughter.
Her older sister, Sienna-Marie James, was born two years before her on September 30, 2005.
Like Shea, Sienna-Marie is pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. She has already appeared in various movies, including Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, Pixels, and Hubie Halloween. She also kickboxes for fun.
Shea’s second-youngest brother, Kannon Valentine James, was born on April 24, 2011. Kannon is a budding musician; Kevin posted a video of him playing piano on his Instagram account in 2020. He also starred in the musical Oliver and appeared in the movie Hubie Halloween alongside his father.

Sistine Sabella James is the youngest of Shea’s siblings. She was born in 2015, meaning she’s only 10 years old as of 2025. The James family keeps her life private, although she regularly appears in family photos.

Shea Joelle James is a budding young actress. She made her film debut as a child in Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 (2015) and also appeared in Pixels that same year. She also had minor roles in the sitcom Kevin Can Wait, playing Trick or Treater 2 in episode seven and Lucy towards the end of the first season.
