With famous parents like Laurence Luckinbill and Lucie Arnaz, I was almost certain it was hard for Simon Luckinbill to stay out of the limelight. Yet, somehow, I was proven wrong! During my curious journey trying to learn more about Simon Luckinbill, I discovered, oddly enough, very little.

Early Childhood and Family
Simon was born on the 10th of December in 1980 in LA, California, and raised to Laurence Luckinbill and Lucie Arnaz. He was his parents’ first child and one of the reasons their worldview swiftly changed from living under the spotlight to relaxing far away under the countryside’s sun.

Having children while being famous is certainly not easy, which made Laurence and Lucie step away once their family started growing. Simon was their first child, but soon enough, Joseph and Katherine followed. Joseph is also another artist, playing the guitar, while Katherine is a former on-screen star. Simon has two more siblings, Ben and Nicholas, from his father’s previous marriage.

Sadly for us, it seemed that Simon’s parents’ lifestyle greatly affected his decisions, leaving us with little knowledge about his education. He didn’t talk about his childhood school before and what form of higher education he pursued. However, there’s one thing that Simon couldn’t keep under wraps—for a good reason—and that’s his career!
Career
Simon followed his parent’s footsteps when it came to being close to entertainment. Ever since he was a child, he followed creative adventures, playing drums and percussion and enjoying art, music, and poetry.
According to his interview with Coachella Valley Weekly in 2016, Simon said he had a passion for “using color, texture, and a hint of fantasy to express myself.” Though he ventured into many artistic pursuits, it seemed art and its colors won above all else, leaving Simon to say, “I find art to be cathartic.”

His first big show was in 2014 at the Archangel Gallery in Palm Springs, California. According to various sources, he sold more than half of his paintings in under two hours—some even say it was just 90 minutes!
Two years later, Simon held his second show in Coachella Valley, where he talked with Coachella Valley Weekly about his feelings toward painting. During that interview, Simon also spoke about how he draws inspiration from “music, nature, vision quests, and, as a Christian, of course, God.”
Unfortunately for us, that’s the extent of the internet’s knowledge about Simon Luckinbbill! It seemed his interview with CV Weekly was the last known one, and he didn’t make any known public appearances or interviews afterward. Naturally, this made it hard to follow up on his work and current status, but here’s to hoping he’s doing fine and selling amazing art!
